I agree. I am interested to see what Chris says too. Also Terrior and Fudd have a deep knowledge of Mantle sigs

I'm not a big fan of this signature. I'd like to see the substrate it's on first of all. I don't like the strike through of the first M and a couple of spots of the "Mickey" are just not right. 3 things I hate about the MICKEY. The M in Mantle that has the flick to the "a" seems way too slow. The entire signature seems like it was signed with no authority causing the sharpie to bleed. I also do not like the plane of the "tle".

If it's real, I hate it and it gets about 1 point on my 10 point must scale. If it's a forgery, it's a very good start...

Perhaps it's an effect of the grainy image, but it appears too slow and "bleedy" for my comfort. I suspect a trace job may be a possibility.

and now to see the item in all it's glory, I'm sure I wouldn't want it for 25 bucks. 99% of cuts and index cards are forgeries, IMHO.

Way to save yourself from a beating like a red headed step child.

For $175, you can get a great authentic photo, not on an index card LOL

Fudd, I actually only collect signed index cards. So a photo would be of no interest to me. Mantle index with PSA OR JSA seem to range in the 300$ area.

I have a MM index card that I'd be willing to part with at $140 if everyone thinks it is real (I bought it earlier in the long and continuing process of learning). I'll post a picture later today. If the experts don't like it, it'll find a home in the shredder.
