Don't get your hopes up with studio fan mail for A and B list celebrities….that being said. Right now there are 4 signed "best wishes" photos on the internet and 2 inscribed cards or album pages for Jean Sullivan. They all have similar characteristics and 1 of the inscribed items is signed later in life. She had 3 minor war date movies so the G.I.'s generated enough demand for Sullivan photo's for Warner Brothers to print her name on the return address. It is possible (my opinion ) the publicity department at Warners had her pre sign photos to be sent out when asked for, not like she was making a lot of movies. I do not think anyone at Warner Brothers would be skilled enough to closely copy a C or D list actress's  autograph. In my humble opinion I think it could be real. This was mailed after the war for 1.5 cents to England. The cost has gone up a bit since.

Thanks David for your reply. Just trying to sort out the secretarial ones, was given about 500 vintage photos half which had been autographed.
