I thought I was seeing things here and I'm not even drunk. It took me several double takes to figure out what was going mad about this sig.
Could this JimJmorrison sig come from the hand of Legit intoxication or Faked by someone who got J happy?

a crying shame of pure butchery on what I consider his most impressive signature.

Timothy... do tell.... maybe post it on a separate thread.

I agree wholeheartedly especially considering they could have easily matted "Bonnie" out and framed with a photograph instead of a gosh awful "slab."

I might guess it has to do with the goal. ;)

wonder where and when the "bonnie" will turn up

It was originally sold through the Doors Collectors Magazine site with a nice story from Bonnie about how she met Jim and obtained the autograph. Now it's cut, slabbed, and ready to flip. Oh well.

Loss :( Texture, time , space, story...for slab.

So it goes from a nice piece with solid provenance to a half assed slab. Such a shame.

Now who was it saying "Inscriptions? Dedications? Bah! Less is definitely more"? ;)

This appears a good example.

I considered purchasing it, but didn't really care for the overlapping "J" and "M". Also, I already had a Morrison signature at the time. Of course, I wasn't expecting prices to shoot up the way that they have. You could get a PSA/DNA encapsulated check endorsement for less than $4K.
