I don't know where they came from, but there are a bunch of DiMaggio signed baseballs with this aqua colored marker. I have one myself. Not the conventional pen, but it displays really nice. I have a Mantle in this shade of blue as well.

I used to have one of the aqua pen ones too. I bought it from an older gentleman who got it in-person from Joe D. I bought it from him about 12 years ago. The guy was probably in his early 70s, really nice. I had gotten to know him as he worked part-time in a sports memorabilia store. He knew I was looking for a DiMaggio, and one day he brought his in. He showed it to me. I knew it was real. And before I could say anything, he said, “I’ll give it to you for $115.” Well, at that price I couldn’t resist. I was like...are you sure that’s all you want? He said, “Yeah, I got it in—person, and I’ve had it long enough. Enjoy.” That was very nice of him.

Thanks so much for the link. I reached out to him. I also found this one. Taking the members advice here, I found the following: it says Joe not Jae. The “gg” are different from eachother, and the “I” is actually part of the “M” swoop. It feels like this might be real?

Happy to report, that I finally obtained this DiMaggio. He has another one for sale, if anyone would like the info. I got this one for $220... I think he wants a little more for his other one
