Hello,
Around 10 years ago I shared images of TTM autographs (JOHN LENNON 1976) that I was very fortunate to receive and opinions here were mostly positive. Several years ago, I requested and received COAs from Roger for the 45 sleeves and the sheet music, but at that time I did not request one for the piece of mat board (pictured) that was in the return envelope.
As I may be interested in trying to sell it sometime in the future, a COA or LOA from a respected TPA may or may not be benficial. So, I submitted this photo along with some history information to a well-known authenticator and unfortunately, it was rejected - determined to be a "failure".
What say you?
Thanks for taking a look once again,
Steve

FWIW, I'd pass on that.
looks good to me
Who's the well known authenticator that you submitted to?
I’m not seeing a problem with it.
i like it, I think it has character if you know what I mean
Hmmm...this is very interesting. There does appear to be some slight differences between the three that were authenticated and the one that was not. Odd, especially if they were all signed at the same time. I'm very interested to get the opinion of others. Right now, my brain tells me that the lack of signing space on the three items could explain the differences given that the mat board allowed for more "flowing, natural" signature and doodle. Looking forward to the more experienced opinions!
+1 and that is a lovely John doodle :-) It is not..."self-conscious."
I think it's A-OK. It was love at first sight for me! I don't see anything that concerns me.
Hi Mates, I see John's typical handwriting, particularly from the second decade of the 70s, where his last name was less legible. They are legit IMO.
