Hi,

Can I order one at 4" cut lengthwise? ;)

An unsigned Butcher cover album goes for $125,000 at heritage! could get a nice harley

Or six really nice hondas!!!

Unsigned!! Sometimes this stuff blows my mind.

Weird, some collectors prefer things like records or baseball cards be unsigned as they feel that the signature negatively effects a "mint" condition.

I personally would rather have even a mint item signed. If that Butcher was a 1st state and wrapped I would think about opening it just to have it signed.

However I also like to see general wear on items, especially if they are 50 years old.

I know that the original Butcher lp was pulled. Actually saw one in the store before it was pulled. Didn't buy it unfortunately. It would interest me on some level but $125 K. No way. Imagine what one signed would go for!

The most expensive butcher i seen sell was 40k. I really dont know why this one is so rare at heritage.
One of the old record company managers found an old box of these covers in pristine condition, first state and started selling them for 2 grand years ago.
I have a 3rd State Butcher. (the slick was removed to show the butcher.) its not in mint condition by any means, still a really cool piece that I would have Paul McCartney sign if given the chance.
