so what do y’all think? bought from an estate sale and has a COA, but I would like opinions before I actually send it to Beckett to get the golden seal of approval or disapproval

I don't believe anyone should be thought of as providing "the golden seal". They all make mistakes. Learning the autograph yourself is very pleasing and then you get to provide your own opinion as well. It takes time and experience of course. Who issued the current COA? How much did you pay?

This, if genuine, appears minimalist, abbreviated and "rushed". I don't like it. It looks uncomfortable/drawn.

Atypical.

Travolta has a slew of people responding to TTM autographs. A bunch of fakes flood the market each day from Travolta, just like this one. I have seen his “autograph” for as little as $2. 

This is a standard through the mail reply photo, which are typically considered to be secretary signed.

Agreed, secretarial TTM, see these often

his mother in law used to sign his fanmail but than you get it personalised and this photo you show us is just his autograph but still thinking it's not signed by john.
