Hello,

When I was in High School, my mom and I faxed letters of support to Michael when he was staying at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. My mom saw that he was staying there on the news after the first allegations came out and we went down to a shop to do an international FAX with the letters marked "Private". We were former Jehovah's Witnesses and I mentioned that in my letter. A week later, I received an autographed promo photo from MJ in the mail from the Heal the World Foundation. My mom did not get one. I know my autograph is authentic and I'm the only one that has ever had possession of it. It was in storage for about 7 years and has been framed since the week I received it. It is in perfect condition. Do you know how much something like this would be worth? It is the same photo that is on this one, but the signature and writing is different from this, which I think may be fake: . http://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/88997891/michael-jackson-1991-promo-...

In addition, mine has the MJJ productions logo on the bottom left and Epic 9111 on the right along with a disclaimer about reproduction on the bottom. The year of the photo is 1991.

Thank you!

Wow, if it sold for that much when it has "To Ben" written on it, then it still has some value. I think the "To Ben" on that one was clearly not written by the same hand that signed it. That signature does look like it was signed by the same one that signed mine, and the "All my love" on mine looks to have been written by the same hand also. I will try to adjust the brightness/contrast and see if that helps.

If yours is similar to the "To Ben" that item was sold as an authentic signature and should NOT have been.  That valuation is absolutely wrong, and Juliens screwed up.  I feel bad for the person who laid out their pocketbook on that one.  Actually if you take time to view that entire thread, I feel bad for anyone who laid out any money on any of the signed items.  They were unfortunately all forged or non-authentic sigs.

I looked at the entire thread. Is a sec hand a forgery? It looks as if items could be added there for discussion, but not necessarily be a forgery. That item was posted as a reply, but I can see no discussion on it or a reason as to why it is there. If you can find out, please do let me know. I'll also be checking for the loop after the "J"...going to look now...

I'm sorry, I went back and looked at the thread again.  I didn't realize that Wendy (the person who started that thread) had separated the Secretarials and autopens sold in Juliens auctions, from the entire Juliens/Bush auction thread (which would take days to read through)  A secretarial is a secretarial, which is a signature signed by someone authorized to do so on behalf of Michael.  I change my wording behind forged above to reflect this.

Autumn DH-
Even with the sig in your pic being mostly obscured by the black-on-black, I don't think a better pic would solve the glaring "bad areas" of the sig..... it's too obscured for me to judge if it's a secretarial or just a forgery, but it's not too obscured for me to tell you that it's very likely not an authentic MJ. Sorry, that's my opinion.
