I came across this signed photo of Marlon Brando on offer from a seller.  As you can see, it's a nice STREETCAR image.  It's signed in blue felt tip pen with his name only.  A little digging showed it went through auction at RR a few years back and sold for nearly $2k. As with most of the RRauction material at that time, it was pre-certified by PSA.  I don't know if the original buyer at that time had it fully certified.

How does it look to you folks who know Brando?  It's a bit different than other exemplars that I have seen but we know that his signing habits were inconsistent, at best. This would have been a later signature with the felt tip pen, if it is authentic.

Any thoughts on it would certainly be appreciated to help guide me.

RR sold that? It's not a style that I'm familiar with.

Yes, RR sold it Feb. 2015.  It hammered at $1842.40.

I have seen it floating around for sale a couple times over the years.

no good

I recognize some Brando characteristics but I'd need to see more known genuine ones with more of these characteristics to form an opinion. If you're looking for a Brando I'd suggest one with more typical characteristics.

+1 never saw one like this.
