I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures' or 'Disney characters'.
Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.
Here are some current examples:

Prashant, remember when I told you Ed from GHR&R wrote to me asking for help - to get info on Jason because he was scammed as well? (he did not have COA's on his though) Check this out. http://www.gottahaverockandroll.com/Michael_Jackson_Signed_Original...
I wrote to him with the same email he wrote to me - asking for help. I reminded him that he asked me for help on these and that I would certainly hope he would pull it so that someone else wouldn't be scammed.
I have yet to hear back (wrote him before the auction started a few weeks ago). 3,000 bid on it now.
An update on the UK seller 'Simon Parr Auctions' who has a shiny new company name 'Kristen Leigh Auctions', and a new address (which resembles an 'accommodation' or postal address, as it seems to be shared with several other businesses). Despite the new name, the sale stock looks very much like the same old same old (fake signed items purportedly by Basquiat, De Kooning, Warhol, Picasso, Haring, plus Disney, Kane, Schulz, Kirby, Seuss, Groening etc etc, and of course Michael Jackson).
At the moment, there are two almost identical auctions 'on the blocks' on two different auction platforms. Firstly dated 12th August 17 on the 'Bid on This ' platform, and secondly dated 9th September on the 'UK Auctioneers' bidding platform.
An example of a comparison item from each platform, Lot 107, a 'Drawing of Tinkerbell signed by Walt Disney', which is dedicated to 'Mick' (Mickey Mouse perhaps??) is attached.

The Terms and conditions for Kristen Leigh auctions are the same for both auctions, and bear thorough reading. No warranties are given as to authenticity (despite any 'COA' provided) and the contract is between the buyer and the consignor. Furthermore, although 'Bid On This' listings currently indicate 'No reserves', the Kristen Leigh T and C's make clear that there are indeed 'secret reserves' and the auctioneer will (or reserves the right to) bid up to this amount.
Interestingly, there seem to be three MJ Lots in the 'Bid On This' 12 August auction which do not appear in the 9th September 'UK Auctioneers' Kristen Leigh auction listing: Lots 311,317, and 321 - the latter being the 'Morgan Freeman' drawing fake-signed by MJ (Photos below):

has anyone reported this to bid on this as i am speaking to them now about bert stern prints they've told me I'm the only person who has raised concerns about authenticity
More from 'Kristen Leigh Auctions (previously Simon Parr's Auctions) on 'Bid On This' / Barneby's:
Lot 25 A fake 'MJ signed' drawing of a smurf in blue pencil. Estimate £1,000- 1,250.

The drawing looks rather similar to another 'MJ' drawing of a smurf in green pencil, sold at Gotta Have it on 28 Sept 13 for $2417.

Seller Madonna220 from Bangor in the UK is a 'repeat offender' on ebay.com, with very childish drawings that you would think couldn't possibly sell. But the last one offered (page 102 of this thread) apparently sold for £82 / $106, if the ebay sales info is right and not a faked purchase.
Two more offered at £350 BIN on ebay.com:
MICHAEL JACKSON DRAWING SKETCH DRAWN AND SIGNED BY MJ NOT MADONNA
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICHAEL-JACKSON-DRAWING-SKETCH-DRAWN-AND-SI...
This is an extremely rare opportunity for the music collector or mj fan. It is an original drawing of a face by the music legend Michael Jackson. Drawings by mj are getting harder to come by now and I am reselling this one due to a non paying bidder. The legend behind smooth criminal, thriller and the moon walk drew this one of a kind drawing of a face, perfect investment or piece for the ultimate mj fan a4 in size. I am also selling one other from my collection of mj drawings. Buy now or make an offer. Good luck and international bidders PayPal only.

Sadly buyers seem to want to be convinced......and if they don't like the item when it arrives, they can just put it back on ebay as a 'genuine item from their collection', and someone else will likely give them a tidy profit for it. I'm sure you are right. There will be no end to this...............
(Photo of first drawing above re-posted as the original did not include the fake 'MJ signature'.
Lizzie, I call them "delusional autograph collectors."
Sad.
More from madonna220 of Bangor UK, who seems to be going into 'industrial production' of these fakes. They could become 'collectors items' for the fake Letters of Authenticity alone, which are possibly unprecedented in their sheer stupidity.
The second drawing has an LOA which mentions 'Banana Boat Authentication'. In the UK, use of the phrase 'Do you think I came in off the last banana boat / s/he came in off etc etc. is a racist phrase implying stupidity of immigrants, specifically those from the West Indies. One can only surmise what is (or is not) going on in this forgers mind.
