Michael Jordan signed Upper Deck SOLD as an Authentic Signature

Hi,

I'm new to the site and truly a newbie at the world of autographs.  I recently purchased this piece which was sold to me as an Authentic signature.  Since it had the Upper Deck certificate, I bought it.  However, I showed it to a friend who told me he believes the signature may not be an original.  Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.  Thank you.

I could be wrong, but it looks like a pre-printed signatures and the certificate with the number is in reference to the coin and photo as a set, not the signature.

Nicely spotted, hopefully you can get a refund

Thank you!  I hope so...  Seller wont email me back.

I figured.  Thanks.

If you purchased this on Ebay and paid via PayPal you should have no issues getting a refund.

How long ago did you purchase this?

I purchased it on Sunday and paid with PayPal. I hope you’re right. I opened a dispute this afternoon with PayPal and tried reaching out to the seller several times, but no response.

If you bought it on Ebay, go through them first.

I called them first and they told me to contact PayPal. They did, however, take the information. I believe that they’re trying to contact the seller as well. I really appreciate all of your suggestions by the way, thank you.

Steve is correct.  The COA is not in reference to the signature.  The COA is actually in reference to the item as a whole.  The signature is a pre-print and not an authentic, live-ink signature of Michael Jordan.  You shouldn’t have much trouble getting a refund.

Thank you for the encouragement. You guys are really an awesome community.

I’m still working with eBay and PayPal. I was told that I must continue to make payments until the case is closed.
