Most Forged Signature or Autograph You Can Name

I would have to guess it would be one that commands the most money and therefore is worth attempting. It would have to be either somewhat rare or simply highly sought after. Remembering that some famous people do not always sign much, i.e. Steve Jobs or some died young. A few that come to mind under the category of "valuable" but not necessarily rare, might be:
++ Babe Ruth, all 4 Beatles at one time, John Wayne, Elvis Presley, JFK and Marilyn Monroe.
I've seen terrible examples of these signers yet they always tend to sell for big bucks. I'll let others continue this thread so now it's YOUR turn.

If you're talking about the most forgeries out there, the runaway winner since 2009 must be Michael Jackson--and maybe ever by now. How could it not be? We're aware of one deal with at least 500 alone.

If we include sports, especially Operation Bullpen, then Babe Ruth or Mickey Mantle would be major contenders. For politics, Barack Obama.

Bush 41 and 43 both have very simple signatures as well. I don't imagine it would take much to convincingly replicate either one.

Yes, I have had abut 25- 30 of his verified by one or another authenticator, before I would have bought them and all were duds! ;-(

I agree with all the names on this list BUT ONE.
How can Ted Williams (a San Diegan, might I add)?

His signature was so distinct and looks like it would be hard to forge, as opposed to say -- the sloppiness of Jordan, or the M's of Mickey Mantle that are curved and probably easy to duplicate.

there are several variations to Ted Williams and not necessarily the one with the flourish that you might be thinking of. I put a number of his "deemed to be authentic" around here somewhere but here

they don't have to be good and to many collectors who haven't done the homework they will bite. Reminds me of a "kid" last year who had a Stat Cert Ted Williams.
