Oh dear.

Oh! :( I would say that had has to be fixed. It is the most important moment, one of...

Or, just switch in a splashdown photo :) You have him in his suit in portrait, him (or Buzz) on the lunar surface, and then switch in a correct launch shot (you have Apollo 17 only night launch 1972) and a splashdown...16th-24th

Eric

Agree. The launch photo is Apollo 17. It is Buzz next to the flag, not Armstrong.

These are the few photos of Armstrong on the moon. You can download a high res copy from NASA image site.

You have to change the date in my opinion. It says first man on the moon, the date implies that is the day he became the first man on the moon.
I'd change the plaque, very easy for your framer. Nice looking piece!

Crap seems i cocked  up a fair bit although the man on the moon pic come with the card how do you know its buzz ? The launch pic i thought  look quite nice but can see what you meen the dates the main thing going to see if i can take it apart and redue

It seems to be a mystery as to how or why it happened, but there are no posed photos of Armstrong on the moon. The only images of Armstrong on the moon are from the camera mounted on the lunar lander and the top one above. You have the two images above and the black and white image of him descending the ladder. All of the other images are of Aldrin.

JMO. But, Armstrong is a valuable signature and one you plan to display proudly. I would correct the date and possibly the launch picture to one of Apollo 11. Unless the backing is over glued you should be able to carefully remove it to get to the mounting area. Consider taking it back to your matter, the extra cost will be worth it.

Hi again,

I agree w Joe who makes a good point. It really should be literally all Armstrong, all '69. This should present no problem to any decent framer. Change plaque (less aggressive font and size? Maybe Steve could suggest...) and launch photo IMHO.
