Hi to all.

Long long ago before I knew of this site (or even of authenticators and the like) I purchased a couple of signed books (books were kinda my thing). One signed by the great Sir Paul and the other by the legend Madonna. Now, not knowing my stuff and being green there is a very good chance I purchased 2 complete turkeys! So, I've pulled up the courage to take a couple of images and post them here to see if I was/am as useless as I think I may have been or if I got lucky and got a couple of gooduns.
Please can you good people give me your opinions.

Thanks to all.

Sorry, and the McCartney...

I personally don't like the Paul McCartney, I've never seen him form a P like that on anything.... Sorry

Sorry Nate.  The McCartney one doesn't look right

I don't like the look of either the Madonna and especially the McCartney signatures.

I gotta chime in a little late , only thing that looks close on the McCartney is the sketch.

Mccartney is not authentic imo

May I ask if this included a COA from Rare and Signed?

That good then :-)

Not that I remember but it was a while ago. The McCartney was an eBay purchase and I'm quite sure that was from a private individual, the Madonna was from abebooks so that one might have been rareandsigned but I honestly cannot remember as it was one of, if not the first, piece I purchased when I decided to swap beer money for something longer lasting. Though now I wish I had had a couple more nights out spending it on grey goose rather than, what would appear to be, these turkey's!

Sorry to read that. I was curious because the sketch and a portion of the signature bear a resemblance to offerings from Rare and Signed.

The Madonna is definitely not authentic, and I don't think Paul's is either.
Both are bad IMHO.
Sorry, there is nothing right about the Paul example...
