Paul Newman signed photo - seeking authenticity opinions

I find that Paul Newman can present a challenge when it comes to authenticating his signed photos from the early 60s onward.
Here's a signed image in his role from 1972's The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.  His secretaries were very good and this may very well be an example of their work.  
I'd appreciate opinions on this photo.  
What do you think?
Is this signed by Paul or a proxy?

Ah, Lillie Langtry.

I loved this film, John Huston, Newman, Perkins, Farnsworth, Hunter, McDowell etc. and that bear!

It  does seem very slowly written with no flow  or spontaneity (sic) imo

Here's a check from him in 1973.  Certainly more spontaneity here.  I also notice that the letters don't tend to "lean to the right" as much on his checks like they seem to on the Roy Bean photo.

Thanks for jumping in, guys.  It's confirming what I was suspecting about a secretary's work on the photo.

I posted the photo for opinions on the vintage Hollywood autograph site as well.  One of the members there stacked the Bean and the 1973 check signatures on top of each other to compare:
