My wife and I came across this signed album when my wife and I moved. She got it a few years back. Is this real and how much is it worth? It has a certificate of authenticity. Thanks for any help.

Hi David,

I hate to be the one to tell you, but these are most definetly forgeries. I feel extremely confident that these items are bad forgeries. Every signature is way off, and the Gilmour is just hideous.

If it were real it would fetch over a grand easy, but im afraid that its not worth anything now unless you can wipe those signatures off and sell the vinyl just for the music.

Can you get your money back? Where is the COA from?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it happens to us all.

Good Luck

Carl

The record is usually worth between $15-$35. But since someone have written on the cover, (And it is not the members of Pink Floyd), I would say that the value is about $5.

If you can get a refund, I would go for it right away.

My wife got it from somewhere in the UK a few years ago. I have no idea what she paid. Here is the coa.

From what i can tell, i think the COA says its from Autografica. Is anyone else seeing the same thing? David, can you confirm that it says Autografica? I cant see for sure b/c it is blurry. I cant imagine anyone familiar with Floyd autographs certing this item. I could always be wrong, but these look like very bad forgeries to me. Do these seem just as bad to everyone else?

Carl, I see it, but I'm almost certain it's not Garry King's company.  I've seen them before (Autographica 2000), and I believe they're regarded as sellers of forgeries by ACAF and Is It Real?

Oh thanks Rich. That must be it. I was thinking the same thing about Gary, and thats why i was kinda doubting myself. I know that Gary is experienced, and this item looks bad, and i couldnt imagine him certing it, so i started to think that maybe someone was seeing something in it that i wasnt. I didnt know their were 2 companies with near the same name. Im sure their is a ton of confusion resulting from that.

David can you please list who issued the COA and whos name is on the COA. Apparently Autographica (not Gary Kings company) is certing some very bad items.

Thanks for clearing it up Rich.

Definitely not authentic. The Waters & Gilmour look written by the same person. Sorry!
