Hello everybody!!
I absolutly love when members here at AML post examples of beautiful autographs that they have in their collection. So I thought I should start a thread where everyone who wants, can post a photo of their favorite autograph and maybe write some info about why you especially like this one!
Hopefully some members will chip in!! :-)
Ok, I´ll start:
My favorite autograph is a 10x8 photo signed by Bruce Springsteen and Little Steven, Max Weinberg, Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons & Gary Tallent from The E Street Band:
I wanted this so bad when I first saw it, because I´m a huge fan of Springsteen. But unfortunally me economy usually sucks, so it took me a long time to save up enough money to buy it. And every day that went by, I were worried that someone else would buy it before me. So when I finally bought it, I were extremely happy!!! :-)
Someone else??
PS. Sorry if this has been done recently, but I can´t remember seeing a simular thread. I know that there is a thread about the rarest autograph, but that´s not the same thing... :-)

Amen to breaking the rules. Beautiful piece. I've got a solo scrawl of Brian on his autobiography, but that's nothing compared to this. The Beach Boys and the Beatles are 2 of my absolute all time favorite groups and they influenced each other a lot.
I have many autographs in my collection that I consider priceless. I pride myself on hunting down great examples from tough signers. But there's one that I will NEVER EVER let go!
I am a huge classic horror fan. That means I'm used to snagging signatures that only show up every several years. Well, Lon Chaney, Sr. died early and was an elusive signer while he was active. His autograph is incredibly rare. I already had one autographed album page before this piece came up for sale, but when it became availablee I HAD to own it.
Signed to fellow makeup artist and personal friend Cecil Holland (who wrote the first book on Hollywood makeup and was originally called The Man With A Thousand Faces before Chaney inherited the name.
DATED ON HALLOWEEN!!! The only Chaney signature of it's kind.
Very Nice! Funny how we all have our top signatures in certain categories we collect. For me, I put them in categories of best vintage Female and male movie star , best vintage male and female singers. Best music group, best tv cast, etc.
You gotta love the "look".
Its them claws that look heavy duty!!!
Awesome Lon Chaney!!!
James Cagney (Man Of A Thousand Faces) played a great Lon Chaney.
This is amazing!
Id wanted a Thorpe since I started Collecting at age ten, and always said Id get him on a signed photo. I found this one for $45 and had it Jsa Autenticated for $100. So $145 bucks in a signed picture from the worlds greatest athlete was quite the deal, not to mention its also signed by his son Jack which I feel only adds to the uniqueness of the piece! (:
This thread has been, and hopefully will continue to be, GREAT!!! It´s so much fun looking at all the fantastic autographs listed. Thanks everyone for sharing!!
And I know that a friend of mine will soon post a truly fantastic set of autographs... :-)
