I recently noticed that RR Auction currently has listed a lot of 3 Floyd photos – 1 Gilmour with a vintage 70’s shot & 2 Rick Wright promo photos. I have concerns regarding the Gilmour signature, which style is similar to Gilmour forgeries coming out of the Northern Ireland / UK region.

The questionable Gilmour signature style on all three photos has very similar traits that do not resemble a typical full signature from David. Baselines, flow, and letter formations are all incorrect from authentic examples – In my opinion.
To name just a couple, in the first name - the ‘avid’ comes in too high from the ‘D’ and is way too jagged to finish. The ‘G’ is also wrong in the last name, too flat and contains hesitation going into the ‘l’.

On the other two promo photos coming from Northern Ireland/UK with similar Gilmour’s, also include Nick & Rick – I believe both are also NOT authentic.

Getting Gilmour to sign a vintage shot is extremely rare as he usually sticks to signing licensed merchandise only – (CDs, programs, albums, etc). I do not have any authentic vintage Gilmour photos (70s) in my exemplars and welcome to see anyone who may have one.

You could be right, Corey! Roger Epperson has seen it, because of pre-certified?

Espacially the D to avid is noticable.

I like both Wrights. Beautiful! A shame that tere is no seperate auction for these.

Yes the Wrights are very full and real examples... Only the Gilmour concerns me.
