Thanks Steve and Michelle - reading through the blogs and watching the Fox News stuff really does come across as first class so I figured as much. Really appreciate the community feedback though ...

yeah - you're right and i've now just done that - seeing all this good response from this community about them has encouraged me. i'm surely to cynical and should have trusted my instincts but having a read of these forums has reminded me that being careful is wise in this hobby!

Cheers Mr Miyagi ... this news gets better and better with RAAB and I'm pleased. They have an item I want and I now feel very good about buying it. I'm doing my own due diligence of course but all this positive feedback is making my life easier (yeah yeah first world problems, I know). 

Plus I also appreciate all the responses as I should have put this in the "What Do You Think of this Autograph Dealer" thread. (should an admin move it? please do if needed :-) )
