Real Or Fake: Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" Signed by All 4?

Just saw this on eBay.

Very unusual to have a genuine signed LP by all 4 members. Says it was obtained at Syd Barrett memorial concert in 2007. No COAs.

What do you guys think?

Could you paste in the link please?
Just added. Sorry about that.
Thanks.
That would have to mean that Gilmour signed multiples that night and even switched pens to make sure signatures were done proper: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l25...

I'll let the others clue you in on the possibility of that actually happening.
There was a recent thread here on U2 autographs. They'd have a field day with this example of "Bono"'s autograph from the same seller: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l25...

You can find several REAL in-person Pink Floyd autographed items to compare at

Thanks for the reply.  Hmm.... I would have thought "Wish You Were Here" looked legitimate, but the switch to gold marker is highly suspect. Anybody else with a penchant for rock and roll signatures care to weigh in?
You need to talk to Stephen Duncan. He won't opine on authenticity, but he'll provide examples. He's one of the top in-person non-professionals of all time.
David stoped signing Pink Floyd items awhile ago. Those autographs on that Cd are most likely not authentic. I would go more into to it , but you can message me if you would like to know about it . Also the Jagger Bowie record they have up for sale is a poor forgery as well. David did sign everywhere he went in 2007 , but he would only sign his cd , and he also personalized almost every single one of them .
Interesting. Did not know he was more reluctant to sign earlier band work... makes sense though.

The Roger Waters doesn't look good to me.

Here's something people have to realize about "where" people claim to have gotten things signed. NOW, it's super easy to Google -- find a time ALL the band members were together. Or, you could find a concert -- you could write the EXACT date down - Nov 5, 1973.  You now have an album, with a date. And if the buyer looks up that date, they think -- WOW, their story checks out. There was a concert at Wembley Stadium on that date, that must make it authentic.

Now, let's move to this scenario -- you are put in a time machine and go to Wembley Stadium on that date, and Pink Floyd is playing. Uhhh...just how are you getting that record signed? There are 25,000 other fans waiting near the tour bus, security is all around. Basically -- it's not happening.

Now, if somebody tells you their uncle was a security guard and blah blah blah. Yeah, sure...that helps. But there better be some hardcore proof that backs that up.

And, it's always more believable when you're buying -- and somebody has a story like that -- and they say "For some reason, he never saw David Gilmour. So it's not signed by him."

Yes, that makes the album less desirable, but it sure makes the story sound more beliable.

Now this I find to be very true. It's also why I doubt any album in the caliber of Pink Floyd's fame to be signed by all 4 members. When I see them signed in the same color, I automatically assume the worst. Factor in the animosity of the band members over the years, the production of solo music and the lack of accessibility and I agree with the majority of what you're saying.

I suppose anything is possible. I honestly could see the "Wish You Were Here" being real but the metallic markers on the other one  are what have me wondering.

I waited too late to get this Meddle lp completed.Gilmour would not signed it on the On An Island tour, leaving his pen on the inside gatefold and letting the pen roll off to the ground.Roger signed this for me a few years ago,Nick and Rick for me about 20 years ago. However, here is an example David signed for me in the mid 80s.

WOW! What a story! Hahaha - I would probably be honored to have a memory like that despite not getting the autograph on Meddle. FANTASTIC collection you have there.
