Real or not, and who signed it?

Got a vinyl record from my daughter after a trip to Spain. When unpacking it, we discovered the signatures on the record label. My daughter said she did not see this signature in the shop, neighter did the shop owner. We can read Richard Wright at the top, but is the one that overlapping Wrights signature? From the arcs and curves, my guess would be Roger Waters. but I am not sure, and it is hard to read. First of all, who would make a fraud signature that is hard to read? And who would place a fraud signature on the label instead of the cover? Based on these facts, I'm guessing it is real. But what do you others think? And who is the second signatures from?

I dont see waters at all, maybe I am missing it but I can even find one similarity.

I think this record is signed by a previous owner and not any of the members of Pink Floyd.

Hell Mr. Backer,

Unfortunately this album isnt signed by any member of pink floyd, at least that i can see. I was only able to see one signature though. And that signature was not of Roger Waters or Richard Wright. Absolutely no chance that the picture posted is signed by any floyd member. Not even a slight chance.

Forgers are clever, and although it may seem unlikely, they will do whatever they can to sell a piece. Typically you are correct with smaller name musicians, but when you start talking about bands like Zepp, floyd, elvis, beatles, and guys like babe ruth, all best are off. These are very valuable signatures, and lots of times collectors arent as picky when it comes to inscriptions with these rare bands. And they often arent picky with autograph placement or quality. Its really amazing. I have to say that i have seen more Elvis forgeries with inscriptions to various people than i have just plain forged signatures alone. I have also seen forgeries in the most unlikely places trying to fool people. The rarer and more popular the band, the more the odds are that a forger will think outside the box.

Now with this item, i think Bjarne is correct. I really dont think this is a deliberate forgery. I think its probably the owner of the recrod as Bjarne said, or a band member that i am not familiar with. The record could have potentially be signed by any old person around the stage or studio, but it definetly wasnt a member of floyd judging from the pic above. But i think you should still ask around about it. Someone may recognize it, and it may turn out to be a valuable signature in and of itself. Just my thoughts and experience.
