It's been 5 years since we published our first Band-Signed Beatles Album Census.

It's time to update it!

A history of full-band-signed Beatles album prices would be hugely helpful to the marketplace as well, going back as far as we can, so let's build that, too. Not just from auctions, but reports from collectors and dealers who have sold them.

For starters, please read the 2011 Census, which had a few years of updating and other input added by collectors and dealers.

Add your research and commentary to this discussion for now, and as we get more data, we'll post two separate discussions to fine tune it. Once we feel comfortable with the information we have and what we have determined, we'll publish reports that will help collectors and dealers worldwide make better educated decisions on Beatles album sales and purchases.

These are the results of the 2011 census:

More stuff will appear on the market. 2 White albums and a Rubber Soul have shown up in the last few years. But it is not gonna be a lot. In terms of albums from 1965 and on. A Let it Be signed by all 4 on their front cover picture pieced together after the breakup would be the Holy Grail. One can only hope...

I think the same is true for authentic beatles signed guitars. There has got to be more than 2

Does anyone have pictures of the Rubber Soul signed on the Mad Day Out, or know when it sold and for how much?

We’re the owners of the “Mad Day Out” Rubber Soul LP signed by all four in August ‘68 (during a break in the White Album recording sessions). As with our entire Beatles collection, it was purchased directly from Mr. Caiazzo (in 2013) Here's a link to some pictures, posted on our Facebook page:

Great one - nicely cleaned.

Thank you, Beatlemaniacal! Impressive.

I am the proud owner of the original artwork for Rubber Soul!! Got it at auction in England -was sold by the artist- I will dig up details and photos eventually and post them -came with an album too but i don't know of its rarity.

That's what you get when you can't afford a signed Rubber Soul album!

And here are pictures of both of the post break-up signed White Album's. Obviously signed at the same time(s) as each other.

I am very confused on these two signed albums. If they were signed at the same time it wouldn't have been signed by all 4 at the same time post 1970 for sure.

John's signaure is dated 1973 on each, but who signed the albums first and where/when were the other three signing this at?

I've added the 2011 census to the original post,

This seems like quite a task. In the last couple of years, I've seen at least 3 new Help, 2 new HDN, and quite a few PPM and With the Beatles. Also, there's a new forger whose items have popped up on Heritage and other auction sites. At least one fake PPM and one fake Meet the Beatles went for big money in the last 2-3 years.

RevolveR, which/when were the Heritage Auctions that sold the fake albums and how we’re they determined to be fake?
