Sone Elton John signed new CD singles not passing 3rd party authentication

FYI, in Real Autograph Collectors Club group on Facebook a person posted that Beckett and PSA are saying the Elton John signed CD single art card from the UK is not authentic. There is debate on how many he signed, may have been signed by others or used autopen.

Here is link to the discussion over there https://www.facebook.com/groups/955090951189857?multi_permalinks=47...

Does anyone have a reply from Elton John's website confirming this is real?

It doesn't matter what the website says. They'll lie anyway if they were fake. They're not going to admit they sold fake autographs. Many record  companies have obviously done it and then lied.

yup!

Yes, I did. Also, you just know that Elton is not the sort of person to sell non genuine items.

UMG are well know to sell Fake items though and UMG own EMI !

My Signed Dua Lipa card was Signed Elton not x !

Could you post a screenshot of the email from the Elton website please?

Here it is

It wasn't to long ago that Ozzy's website swore that he signed all the cd';s also

If you want I am willing to exchange it with the Dua Lipa...

Correct me if I’m wrong but you can actually see examples of the Elton sigs that are failing some TPA right in front of him as he is signing in the video? How do you explain that?

I would like to know why these are failing, is it the letter formations, pen pressure, what? I think these TPAs need to update their records on Eltons sig as clearly what they use to rely on are no longer reliable….

You make a good point. And I agree. To me, these all seem real. Has anyone received a failure with psa? I've only seen failures with beckett quick opinions so far

I'm sure that Elton John signed the art cards since I would think that the art cards are limited edition and that the only people who received a signed art card were the ones who got the signed copies.  In regards to 3rd party authentication, their reason for not certifying the signatures is because the autographs are something that they have not seen by him. As a buyer, I can appreciate the fact that they are not willing to authenticate the signatures unless they are 100% sure that the celebrity signed the item.
