I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Pete, I don't know...I'm not sure this is real. LOL! Only joking, of course. I'm talking to the master here.

Congratulations! Nice pick-up. Obi-Wan has taught you well!

Just so we're clear for anyone reading this, Pete was joking, the autograph is fake and the photo was actually printed after Alec died. If you examine the copyright date in the bottom right it will be long after the year 2000.

Such a sad state of affairs when human beings don't know what a Flux Capacitor is used for.

One must assume that some Star Wars fans know little about time travel. :0)

Well color me blushed! Could I stick with my original line...I'm not sure this is real?! Lol. I thought the Alec Guinness looked off, but dadgumit, if Pete says it's real I'm going to believe it!

Flux Capacitor? Just looked it up. Believe it or not, I've never seen "Back to the Future" all the way through. And I've never seen II or III at all which just blows the mind of a good friend of mine who is a huge fan.

I guess I need to read the fine print next time (copyright)! Lol.

I look at these and can't help but think of the poor little autograph orphans holding out their empty porridge bowls and saying "Pleas sir may I have some more?

Can we possibly squeeze some more logos and stickers onto these photos?

These are autographed photos damn it, not NASCAR.

What the hell is wrong with people?

I agree, way too busy for my taste. This is one of the reasons I print my own photos most of the time.

The Fan Expo hologram is 100% reliable in itself... no need to send to PSA. Silly.

Historical collectors in general shun stickers. Put a sticker on the front of a vintage NASA lithograph, and you just cut the price in half. Generalist dealers make this mistake, but a space dealer knows better.

But, as long as entertainment and sports collectors lap it up, they'll keep doing it.

I could not agree more, Pete.

I am beginning to notice that Mark Hamill signed photos are selling for more than Carrie Fisher signed photos. Is there a reason for this trend?

Marks con price has risen to 195 an autograph I believe. So that's a big reason.

I think many Star Wars fans know all too well that if not for Luke Skywalker, General Tarkin would have carried out his devious intentions with Princess Leia and we would have lost her much, much sooner than we did. Therefore, the demand for his autograph is a bit higher because of his heroism.

Or you can go with Ian's theory...which is actually the correct one I think. Lol.
