I am not familiar with his autograph at all - thoughts?

Looks like it could be good especially if that’s an earlier one. I have not seen one with the last name tailing off like that but it looks like it might be an old in person example so that’s how it can seem kind of full yet not every letter there. 

Do you know anything about where/when this was signed? Is this just on a piece of paper or on something and you just photographed the signed area? Good to have more information.

Definitely has possibilities of being authentic.

Hmm...that seems a much more "confident" and fluent example but I guess that would have been written on a flat surface and  my example is supposed to have been grabbed IP. 

And yours is said to be some years earlier too.

Looks very promising and era style appropriate.
