Store: Rare-T, and Authenticator: Premiere Collectors (Eric Freidman) - Heath Ledger autograph?

Hi everyone,

New to the site and have been getting a crash course in autograph authenticity from all of the great topics here. Does anyone know anything about the Canadian memorabilia store Rare-T? Their website is below:

https://rare-t.com/

They tell me that the authenticating body they use is Premiere Collectors. According to their website, the CEO is Eric Freidman.

Here's an example of one of the pieces of merchandise - a Joker picture autographed by Heath Ledger. Considering this thread: https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/heath-ledger-joker-..., I thought I would ask. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

The silence is deafening

Such a shame, I sold an item to this company a few years back and the person I spoke with seemed like a great guy - we even talked about consignment opportunities.

Now, you see them peddling this garbage and wonder where it went wrong. I'm guessing they found selling high end decorative forgeries more lucrative.

Greetings Mike. Good to hear from you.

Rest assured that as has always been the case - Unless a piece is specifically listed as being a Limited Edition Studio Approved Reproduction and/or Facsimile - Each piece offered will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by one of the leading firms and/or Industry Specialist such as (CGC, Tristar, JSA, OA, Upper Deck, PCA, Beckett, PSA/DNA...)

For this reason, all sales include a lifetime Guaranty of Authenticity.

Please do not hesitate to contact us directly at info@rare-t.com should we be of further assistance.

Hi Jonathan,

Can you please tell me where you obtained the autographed Avengers Endgame and Heath Ledgers pieces you're offering?

I emailed your company about having purchased a fake from you, no reply almost 24h now lul.

RARE-T,

I heard you're in middle of a Star Wars autograph sale—through Thursday—so I just checked it out.

Every single item of yours that I saw is a horrible, ridiculous forgery, and I looked at all the more valuable names and everything cast-signed.

The rest of your inventory that I've seen is no different.

Granted, it's my opinion. But I'm as sure in my opinion that all of these are forgeries as I would be if they were signed in crayon by a 5 year-old.

There are a lot of autograph and memorabilia galleries that knowingly sell virtually nothing but easy to identify forgeries—Las Vegas is full of them. But I've never seen one filled with forgeries as ridiculously bad as yours.

How can live with yourself committing fraud for a living every day?

Here's the link to Rare-T's Star Wars forgery sale:

It’s called the “May the forgeries be with you” sale.

+1...you should trademark that!

I wish this had been up before I bought from Rare-T, I had the unfortunate thing happen where I took it to PSA in person and was told it's a fake.

I contacted touch of modern, who pretty much ignored me but seeing that Rare-T is saying directly contact them on here I guess I will and see if I can get the thousand something dollars I paid for a signed Pink Floyd album back.

Will update based on how they respond.

Mr Bates,

Where did you buy your Pink Floyd album, Touch of Modern?

Touch of modern, who acquired it from rare-T.

I contacted both companies though.
