Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not. I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples. These TTM signatures are not cheap. You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box. The question is are they real or not. Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.
Please post your thoughts here and examples.
thanks

So now we have three examples of this style. And in each case, the squiggle underneath is nearly attached to the S in Lewis and the squiggle is shaped like a giant E. That’s the only time we see a paragraph that looks like this is when it’s affiliated with this style signature?
It's very possible someone gave Jerry that framed item on the wall rather than it being something he signed and had someone frame with the other photos. It kind of reminds me of the Andy Griffith museum where you see so many authentic signed items collected by his friend Emmett and when you get to the very end you see a movie poster with a bunch of signatures and you see Andy's secretarial autograph. If it was an item donated while Emmett was alive you'd think he would see the difference but autographs to him is not a hobby so much as Andy's life itself was. So perhaps Jerry and his family got the signed, framed item and thought it was real.
I kinda like the signature. What bothers me is if this was very recent, have you seen how frail Jerry Lee is? Looks like he can hardly hold a pen without help and this is a very bold signature not to mention a huge squiggle. Im not sure about this
I totally don't like it, in my opinion. Looks like a woman's signature and way too neat, but what do I know.

This is just a guess, but I'm going with someone signed the inscription and then Jerry Lee signed his name. Just a feel I have from the appearance and that the start of the squiggly line goes right through his signature. If someone was forging his signature I'm guessing the start of the squiggle would not go through most of the signature.
Yes, it’s hard to believe that a secretarial signer would do that, especially considering the cost of the signature (I was told $200 plus the poster). It’s also hard to believe that they would have a secretarial signature on display in the music room. I think the inscription and signature appear continuously signed, and it looks like the crossbar of the “T” was drawn first like in the second example and other TTMs we’ve seen.
Can anyone tell me what a signed Jerry Lee Lewis album is worth? I have one in a collection I bought years ago, and am thrilled about it.
