I wrote a 7 page letter to the PA district attorney in regards to Coaches Corner....and today I got a form letter pretty much telling me to go smoke a chode.
I guess America's DA's are busy with more pressing matters than taking down a company who has defrauded 10s of millions of dollars from consumers.
So let's enjoy another month of CCAAs great items with rare inscriptions!!!

Coach's Corner is definitely a criminal organization.
I wish I could say I was surprised by the response of the DA's office, but I am not. Autograph and other collectable material is foreign to them (unless there is a rare collector who is also a DA). While they may think it is technically a crime, most are politicians, and are eyeing bigger office. Except I suppose for Operation Bullpen autograph fraud rarely makes headline news. They also look at expert witnesses and probably see it all as a big mess with little gain for them. A jury will made up of people who scratch their heads that anyone would pay the price of their house for a faded signature on a baseball. Sadly, this is the reason forgery is so tempting to criminal elements there is little chance of punishment if caught. At least you made the effort to do the right thing, and this is commendable.
I can’t believe these guys are still around. And their site is not that well indexed on search engines either with so many other unrelated businesses also going by the same name. The E=mc^2 actually made me laugh.
A new low -- selling an "original" signed Rembrandt painting from the 1600's. High bid $48.00. Value if real -- millions.

WOW!
That is simply ridiculous just looking at the back. The wood should be quarter sawn oak with beveled edges and a system of braces called a cradle. The color alone and the grain ...that should all be nearly black-brown with patina, oak being the most acidic wood. I don't think we will be seeing a lead white and chalk ground, or lead white,, smalt, vermilion , orpiment, lead-tin yellow or any other period correct colors on the other side. Titanium White yes, most likely.
Thanks for pointing this out I have been looking for a Rembrandt in the $50 range. I am also glad to know that he is a "LONG-deceased artist."
