Mine still hasn't arrived. They told me I could send it back but said return labels were only available for German residents. I don't know if I will bother returning because of that. I feel 50/50 about opening up a paypal case. It's not their fault that Van screwed them but at the same time, I ordered a signed disc and that's what I was expecting...a stamp just doesn't do it for me.

PayPal provides the seller a chance to make their case.  However, JPC apparently did not respond to PayPal's request.  I agree it is not JPC's fault that Van Morrison and his representatives misrepresented these "signed" items.  However, it is not the customer's fault either.  Hopefully, JPC will pursue this with Van Morrison and be careful with similar items in the future.

For those pursuing a PayPal claim, PayPal credited the full initial purchase price and shipping after the claim had been decided.  However, within about 24 hours I received an email from JPC stating my account was past due and I owed the amount which was returned by PayPal.  I responded to JPC to clarify why this credit was made and offered to return the item if they provided a prepaid shipping label within seven days.  Otherwise, I will consider the matter closed.

It has been about another 24 hours since my response and I have not heard back from JPC yet.  Based on other posts on this thread, it appears JPC has decided to not provide labels for items shipped outside of Germany.  I will share any update.  Hope this helps.

It looks like JPC Germany is not going to respond to my opened PayPal case. It is nearing the deadline. So, It looks like I will get a full refund and end up keeping the CD. I am pretty sure it will go in my favour. I hope not to see any deliberate deception like this any time soon from any other artists. It is a waste of everyone's time.

I wouldn't be so sure you will get a refund, but hopefully we all do !

I opened a Claim against FNAC for Stamped / Signed LP's a few weeks ago, FNAC have ignored all my messages and Proof of fraud, I escalated it to Paypal and they Finally replied to me after over 2 weeks - saying to return the LP's at my cost once received back from the UK to France they will refund me!

I have contacted Paypal stating as they were fraudulantly sold i will not be paying to return them and i await a PrePaid Postage Label from them - I will not hold my breathe though as to whether i get a prepaid label or refund ! Paypal are as Bad as FNAC and side with the fraudulant sellers more than buyers - well in my recent claims anyway!

This is the email I received from Amazon.  When I tried to email them back to explain this was not true the email bounced back

Hello,

We hope to alleviate any concerns regarding Van Morrison's signature as part of your recent order.

Van Morrisons record label has informed us that it has written confirmation from Van Morrison's management that all signatures are authentic and genuine.

We hope this helps alleviate your concerns.

Thanks for your understanding in this matter.

Just noticed this is back in stock today 20th June, at Amazon U.K.!  I don’t mean Amazon selling customer returns via warehouse or anything, or market sellers, it’s just back in stock normally direct from Amazon at £15.99, the price it was before.  It still says signed.  I wonder if these back in stock cd’s are different in anyway?  You wouldn’t think after all the furore over this they would risk starting selling them again.

I'm sure these are the stamped cds returned by customers. Wouldn't risk it.

Yes, more than likely just the same ones, but I’m surprised if they are returns, that they’re not selling them through warehouse, even if they are “as new”.  Perhaps some were returned not even opened of course.

I just received an email from PayPal. My case has now been closed and in my favor so I will be refunded.

The label going along with deliberate deception has really backfired on them. Buyers and sellers were a victim of this nonsense. It is a waste of everyone's time.

I have dealt with the Chrissie Hynde "hate for Sale" and this one (Van Morrison). I hope I do not have to deal with this again anytime soon.

Received my email from Paypal a few days ago, Paypal Rejected my claim and gave the Funds back to FNAC - even though FNAC Never replied to any messages at all on the Paypal claim and i used this Forum as proof that they were all fake and they still rejected it - i appealed and Paypal said if i return at my cost they will refund me when they arrive back at FNAC ! Work that one out - Nothing but Fraudsters both FNAC and Paypal working hand in hand and i told them that !

Same thing has  happened on 2 other recent claims where things have arrived damaged or been Fake / printed sigs  - the Sellers have never replied on any of the claims at all - yet Paypal have sided with them on over £250 worth of items!

Wow! That is crazy. I hope it all works out for you.

I am not sure why my case went so smooth. I opened the case with a letter and photos and JPC Germany never replied and the deadline came up and PayPal went in my favor.

Sorry to hear about your fiasco. I'd be pretty pissed.
