Hoping that others might have an idea.  I think this Brando signature is good (although feedback pro or con would be welcome).

My question is more what kind of ink has been utilized.  The seller states it is a fine felt tip but I think it looks to be more of a vintage biro ballpoint.  I've included a highly contrasted image as well.  I see scratchier aspects of it, skips, some slight bleed off of the letters and aging that looks more ballpoint.

I do not know Brando well enough to give an opinion, but my first impression is that it is done in ballpoint.

I appreciate you looking, Scott.  I agree that  fiber/felt tip just doesn't look like that.   Quite honestly, I'm not certain the seller really knows.  He said he thought it was ballpoint at first but on closer examination thought it was felt tip.

Brando is a toughie.  I remember one dealer calling Brando's signing habits 'chaotic, at best'.  I believe he has also been forged many times over due to his value.  I've had a couple of real ones and one clunker at one point some years ago.

Brando is of the price range you really need to know as much as possible.  Without seeing it in person I still vote ballpoint it does not look as smooth as a felt tip.

It really doesn't look that smooth...I agree.  It's also on a more vintage album page.

I think ballpoint Eddy.

Thanks....That's helping to confirm my impression of it as well.

There looks to be some drying out to the ink over time as well.

If anyone has any more thoughts to add as far as how my OP looks, here's a similar Brando that RRauction sold back in 2014 (ballpoint):

I like it.

What is going on before the "d"?

My wife asks that same question

That lift before the "d" has been the stumbling block for me also on this one.

Check out this next bit I'm going to post..........

I literally just came across this in a Google search.  It had a prior sale via PIECE OF THE PAST in 2021:
