Very nice Adam.  Congratulations on your new acquisition.

Thank you, It is now my favorite piece I own, however I just bought another piece today and when I get it I will be posting. I love this hobby! ;)

By far my favorite Lucas photo, it has ships, a lightsaber, Fedora , whip, Grail and Grail diary...even his Thalberg award. It's got a bit of a bend at the bottom but 11x14 can be problematic out in the streets.

and proof positive that great deals can still be found on ebay. A 1980 Hamill for under $25 shipped.

Those are beautiful. I would've never known that to be Marka Hamill's signature. I like it much better than his later signatures (which is characteristic of celebs sigs as they get older).

Very nice pieces Pete.

I went to an interesting local estate auction yesterday.  They featured items from the library of former MLB Scout Brad Kohler.  There were probably about 300-500 baseball books.  Most of them were biographies & coffee table-type books.  Of course I looked through everyone of them, hoping to find a needle in a haystack, and came across a few cool items!!  For those that don't know, Kohler was a very well respected scout for 41 years, having scouted players such as Mike Piazza (high school), Craig Biggio (college), Mike Mussina, Tino Martinez, Terry Francona (high school), Mo Vaughn, Jamie Moyer, etc.

I found out from one of the auctioneers that the family kept most of his autographed items after he passed away.

Sorting through all the books I came across some pretty cool items, that I ended up acquiring.

They include:  autographed Ted Williams - The Science of Hitting, Seattle Pilots 1969 Media Guide (their only year in existence), 1970 Brewers first-year Yearbook, 1984 Arizona State University Baseball guide (Barry Bonds), Connie Mack Anniversary Program from 1944, and a few cool Scouting items.  Here are some photos...

They also auctioned off his radar gun, which unfortunately, I did not win.

Very nice pieces David.  Congratulations.

real nice! Did you meet him or found one with Michael on it?

For Mike's sake I hope he didn't meet him.

LOL

Oh no? Is he kind of an A-hole?

He is so far beyond that ....it isn't even funny.
