hey micah.   here are two from my collection. I don't like the slant in the first one of your photos, and the letter formation in either one.  But its just an opinion.

Hey Micah... unfortunately I have to agree with my buddy terrier on this one...I think those 2 are not authentic...here is the only Ted Williams I own...I have had owned this for over 15 years...

The first one is on the replica of the Sports Illustrated photo.  I have three of these and all three look a little different and mine are all from Upper Deck.  Doesn't look right, if it isn't UDA, then I would say it isn't any good as he only signed this photo for them.  I would agree that the second one is no good also.

thank you all for chiming in and giving me your opinion's i apreciate it,unfortunately i fell into the group of idiots who got into buying autographs on ebay. i have already bought both and just recently got into collecting autographs,steve is right the first one is a replica of the 1955 si cover shot for teddy, & yes steve it is a uda,i hope its real as i own it (still waiting for it to ship) if i do have any probs can i dispute them with ebay buyer protection? does anyone have any experience going down that road?, this is the (uda) upper deck athentication pic that was in the action

If this is UDA, then you don't have to worry.  When you get it, make sure the hologram is attached and not a copy.  Also, you can verify the hologram number.  He signed all of these at once and there were some differences in the consistency, but it looks similar to mine.

Steve is right, if it IS indeed UDA, and everything matches, then it is legit.  I just did an ebay search for Williams UDA items, and there are several of those SI covers, all of them look the same.  Its a little unsettling and makes me wonder if someone forged these and used fake stickers.  If not, then the signature is good, but really not typical.
