*****YEAR IN REVIEW 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?*****

Wanted to start as always by thanking our founder Steve Cyrkin, Admin for this wonderful site!

I'm up to, and thankful for all my 105 Friends here, and so appreciate everybody's contributions in this community to help build our collections in this Autograph hobby we all so love.

As 2025 comes to a close, it's time again for:

*****YEAR IN REVIEW 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?*****

If you all will kindly allow me to go first here's

*****MY GETS: (In no apparent order):

.Anthony Hopkins (He is a classical pianist and composer)

.Michael J Fox (autographed my Back To The Future 40th Anniversary 345 Guitar)

.Robert Plant

.David Gilmour

.Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson

.Pat Benatar

.Lionel Richie

.Elton John (someone gave me one of the "EJ" initialled "Who Believes"..is this even a GET?)

.Priscilla Presley

*****MY MISSES:

None this year, our awesome community shared some incredible finds and I got all the ones that personally interested me !

This year, again, I maintained my promise to my wife and Jason H that I was pulling back on purchasing, as my autograph collection now completely fills the walls in my Music/Autograph room!

*****HOPES FOR 2026:

.Elvis Presley - but it's gotta be amazing like Steve Cyrkin, Admin 's, and authenticated by

roger epperson, and no wannabe authenticators!

.Axl Rose - at a reasonable price, not the junk filled comic book "Appetite" collection.

.Roger Waters - at a reasonable price, maybe nice and simple like a CD, but not a large Boxset.

So...now it's your turn.... 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year...See you in 2026 !!!

Hey JJ, thanks again for starting one of these year end highlight posts. It's so great to reflect and be thankful for another year of being active with this hobby. I really enjoy seeing what everyone scored.

I love your restraint with Axl and I'm sure you will eventually find a better item for much cheaper at some point like I was able to if you remain vigilant.

When this year started, I was certain that Jimmy Page and Robert Plant would remain on my untouchable list. I ended up scoring multiples of each. Jimmy was a small fortune but very much worth it to get him on a vinyl cover instead of a bookplate. Adding Roger Waters is another highlight but I know thats throwing a little salt on your wounds. I really hope you can find one eventually. Now that I know you need one, If I come across another, I'll grab an extra for you in case you miss out.

Overall, it's been another great year, especially with being on a strict break for a combined 6 months. For a while, I thought I'd be on a break for good but I just can't stay away.

For next year, I'm hoping to grab Jane Curtin to complete my 1st season SNL vinyl. I have a plan in place but it's still not guaranteed. I'll post if it happens. Other than that, I hope Bill Murray will finally sign my cast photo if I run into him again. ( Easy to track down in my experience but not easy to sign specific items)

For the Macaulay Culkin I scored, wondering if anyone has an opinion? I'm going to get it authenticated soon and I'm confident about the signature but there are not many vintage examplars out in the wild to go by. I posted this in a different section. If anyone has more knowledge of Macaulay's full child era signature, please respond here

Jason H  That is a mind blowing and super impressive list of Gets!!!

I will keeep an eye out for a Jane Curtin.

Have a great Christmas and we'll see you in the New Year! JJ
