Thank you all for your comments.  And yes Paul I certainly prefer my one over the one just shown, but like everything in this collecting world it all comes down to personal preference.  And continuing with personal preference; it's great that everyone is different, some put a lot of weight to stories around pieces as they like to get as full a picture of the pieces history as possible, I personally don't mind about the stories much because unless they are 100% provable then they are just stories.  Here is a link to a similar Lennon that sold at Bonhams approx. 12 years ago, it has a little note on it about the Julian story:

And here's a nice pic of Julian with John Lennon from a 1974 recording session (does it add to anything, probably not, but it's a nice image so thought I'd show it :-))

By any chance did Rog say the other two sold at Bonhams were authentic lennon signatures.

Honestly I didn't ask.  Why pay another $15 for someone else's graph!

Well, there seems to be a number of these coming out of the uk, if where saying possible obtained by Jules on holiday with his dad, i thought they must have been authentic as well.

I wouldn't like to say one way or other if they are authentic, I'm just happy that mine is fine.

What I do know is that approx. 12 years ago 3 of these were around and they all sold via major UK auction houses for approx. £3k each (a fair bit of money back then).

I would proceed on the side of caution if I was buying this for a future investment , knowing that there's two other items are out in the market ,one being in a thicker marker. If I you were  flipping the item, all you have to do is get a tpa to sign of on the item and here the cash register ringing.
