I traveled from Orlando to Clearwater on June 4, without have pre-paid for a ticket, thinking I'd have no problem acquiring a ticket. When I got to the venue, I was told that the show was completely sold out. As I turned to walk back to my car for the drive back to Orlando, a man stopped me and said he had two tickets for the show which he could no longer use, as his wife was unable to get off from work. He said the seats were not great, being at the back of the auditorium. At that point it didn't matter to me so long as I could get in to see the concert, so I paid him for one of his tickets. This WAS their 45th Anniversary tour, after all. After the show I was able to discretely get backstage to have my photo taken with them, despite not having a V.I.P. pass. I fully expected security to escort me out once I got through the first door, before I could have my photo taken with them. Fortunately, they didn't see me as a threat. I recall that Davy was the last one to come to the greenroom as he was not feeling well. This was only the 2nd day of their U.S. tour.
