The Beatles (John, Paul, George & Ringo) late 1960's set

1) John Lennon, Yoko Ono and Kyoko Ono 1969 Scotland Autographs (UK)

Two pieces of lined paper that has been signed by John Lennon, Yoko Ono and Kyoko Ono in blue ballpoint pen.

The autographs were obtained by a nurse at the Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie, Sutherland Scotland during the first week of July 1969. The family had been admitted to the hospital for treatment after John Lennon had crashed his Austin Maxi car into a ditch in the Scottish Highlands as they were heading to Lennon’s aunt’s home in Durness to take a holiday. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident. Julian received treatment for shock and was the first to leave the hospital, he was taken to Durness to stay with John’s aunt until he was collected by his mother, Cynthia Lennon. John, Yoko and Kyoko all received facial stitches and remained in the hospital for 5 days. Upon being discharged from hospital John quipped to reporters, ‘If you’re going to have a car crash, try and arrange for it to happen in the highlands. The hospital was just great’.

The autographs come with a letter from the niece of the recipient that reads ‘John, Yoko and Kyoko were holidaying in Durness in the North West of Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland where John had relatives. On their way home they unfortunately had a car accident and were taken to the nearest hospital which was the Lawson Memorial Hospital in Golspie in East Sutherland. My aunt was a nurse in this hospital and got the signatures for me’. Each piece of paper measures 11cm x 8.25cm (4.25 inches x 3.25 inches). The condition is very good. Tracks UK LOA.

2) Paul McCartney 1968 Cavendish Avenue London Autograph (UK)

A piece of white paper that has been signed by Paul McCartney in red ballpoint pen. The signature was obtained at Paul McCartney’s 7 Cavendish Avenue, London home on 2nd August 1968. On this day Paul and The Beatles would travel to Trident Studios, London for the completion of ‘Hey Jude’. The paper measures 9cm x 9cm (3.5 inches x 3.5 inches). Some writing verso. The condition is very good plus. Tracks UK LOA.

3) George Harrison signed in green felt pen "Best Wishes from" adding the sanskrit symbol for Om below his signature. Signature dates circa January 1969.

Frank Caiazzo Letter of Authentication reads:

"To Whom It May Concern

The purpose of this letter is to serve as authentication of the signature of George Harrison. The signature is found on an off white color sheet of paper on which George has autographed beautifully in green felt tip marker, additionally adding "Best Wishes From" before signing also and drawing the Sanskrit symbol for 'Om' after. This signature dates from January of 1969 and is in excellent and extremely rare representative example from the period. The autograph was sent in response to a request from a boarding school for a fund raising donation to The Beatles & Co. Headquarters on Saville Row in London."

The page measures 5x7.

4) Ringo Starr signed late 1960s autograph

A piece of white paper that has been autographed by Ringo Starr in red felt tipped pen. Ringo has added the word Love above his name and XXX below.

The signature dates to the late 1960s. Tracks LOA
