Neil Armstrong autograph, Real or Fake?

Hello,

This is an large photo with Neal Armstrongs autograph on it.  I would love to buy it if it's real.  I found it at an Antiques mall in Colorado Springs.  It comes with 2 COAs from different companies, and I will reveal them later.  I would just like to get some initial thoughts first.

I have never seen an autograph with a COA from Showcase Authentics that I would consider authentic.  Coach's Corner used to sell a lot of autographs with COAs from Showcase Authentics.  Another COA that is similar is from PlayBall Authentics.  I have never seen an autograph with a COA from Playball Authentics that I would consider authentic.  Coach's Corner also used to sell a lot of junk with a COA from Playball Authentics.  Both companies have been around a long time.

The below Jeter has been on the Showcase Authentics website forever.  It's a horrific Derek Jeter.

Good story Chris S, sound like me.  I am in the process of trying to get a refund on some Michael Jackson autographs that were COA by ACE/Justin Priddy.  I found this Neil Armstrong autograph at the antique mall, the was originally asking $3200, then he dropped it to $1200.  Now he has a 50% off sale at his booth, I was really temped to buy this nicely matted large 14" photo print that was autographed by Neil Armstrong, till I met you guys at Autograph Magazine.  I believe you guys stopped me from making a big mistake.

I mean, I was going to be so excited to get an authenticated Armstrong piece and display it prowdly on the wall to brag to my friends, and at 50% off, I had the $600 in hand.  But I'm glad took pictures of the autograph before buying to show what you all thought first.  Thank you for saving me money that I can't afford to squander away.

Wise move, Steve. I'm glad we could help and saved you a lot of money and disappointment. This one is a no-doubter in a bad way.
