Mickey Mantle Joe Dimaggio Autograph Help

I picked up these 5x7s from a guy who used to have a card shop. Can anyone tell me if these are legit autographs, before i waste my money to have them authenticated.  They are marked on the back limited edition to 500...Any help....thanksdon%20001.jpgdon%20003.jpgdon%20002.jpgdon%20005.jpgdon%20004.jpg

Yes...strange it says caed number 1...card stock is thick, and has MLB sticker on back, I was able to find the Don Mattingly one sold on ebay last year and it was signed...just not sure...thanks for your help

Hey Harry, does it look to you like the ink stops and starts too much? And that the signatures are a little too loose? Just went into the Man Cave to compare, and my JSA DiMaggio and PSA Mantle look much tighter than these and look like one fluid motion with very minimal starting and stopping. And yeah, I was wondering about that "Caed" too. And, the MLB Officially Licensed Merchandise emblem looks to be a homemade sticker, too. Never seen that before, either.

Thanks for all the info, at least i can assume now they are forgeries, and i dont have to waste time and effort to send them off for authentication

I see what your looking at now, Harry. Good call. Although, I must say, I have made some homemade items for baseball players to sign when I did not have a card or anything of them.

Aubrey,

I'm sorry, but the Mickey Mantle is definitely a forgery. The DiMaggio is likely so, but I'm not as familiar with him.

Aubrey its really sad! Thanks to this site we can fight back and not fall victim to the forgeries! Dont get discouraged think most of us collectors have had or have a forgery in there collection. I posted a Mantle and Williams dual signed photo bc I think its a forgery still havent gotten much feedback. Take a look at its in Authenticity Opinions

Steve is right, not good.  Sorry you were taken.

The beginning of the k in Mickey is no good.  You can see where the person followed through from the c and to the other side of the k.  Mickey went from the c to the beginning of the k and then up and down, making the rest of the k separate.  The bottom of the M in Mickey is shaky and the start and stop marks are all over.

Both the Mantle and DiMaggio are 100% not authentic.
