This blog is gonna lack substance. Hey...it's after midnight (isn't that a song?), my back hurts from trying to play basketball with people half my age (I just turned the big 4-0), and...well...I don't always have gems, folks. So take what I give ya, and shut up already!!!

On TMZ tonight, they were showing video of Gerard Butler. They seem to get him on that show a lot, and he's always nice and playful with the parazzi -- a great sign for autograph collectors.

Today was the longest footage I had seen of him signing autographs. Lots of people were crowding him, and he looked to be taking care of each and every one.

Then, in an LA Times from a few days ago, I read a great story about Cheers/Becker star Ted Danson. He spotted comedian Dave Chappelle walking by on the boardwalk in Santa Monica, and went over to say he was a fan. Dave looked surprised.

Danson mentioned how he's happy for the success of Cheers, and said something like: To this day, when I sign autographs, I write "Cheers, Ted Danson."

That's kinda cool.

His bartending partner Woody Harrelson doesn't usually sign.

One thing that used to facinate me about ted danson was the producers of his shows used to make him wear a toupee. I also believe woody harrelson is from Indiana which i do not think is a bad thing!

Well...I think the toupee was needed. Danson was supposed to be a good looking womanizer. And, having a bald guy...not sure if that would work as well.
