I just saw this listed on autograph planet, as someone mentioned earlier. They are listing as the lawyer contact Dugan Kelley's law firm.

Regarding "Jefferson"...people are allowed to use screen names unless they're industry professionals. That's why I was insistent that he use his real name. I am comfortable that the name he is using now is.

This whole thread is a waste of time. Original poster split and the next guy speaking for his friend who doesn't want to get involved here. Seen this before on these pages. Post these examples or prove the $3,400 in authenticating fee's. What's he afraid of? Guessing the collection of more rejection from those here who are savvy on those sigs he supposedly has and that they really are fakes?

All these previously authenticated items all of a sudden failing PSA. What's the hold up? If these items were all authenticated by These others why not go back to them and let them deal with PSA? They would have much more power dealing with them business to business. PSA hears from idiots all the time who bought forgeries and refuse to believe they did. Original poster is another example of that. Nothing more.

Anybody who puts 100% faith in any of these authenticators is sure to have their hearts broken. Ton of PSA fakes out there.....even pre Sep 30. It's comical to watch those who believe PSA mistakes are rare. Many collections are riddled with these errors and the hobby stuck with them. Some buyers are collecting expensive stickers.

The real question is why would you spend over $3000 on autograph opinions when you can post them online for free here and get opinions?

I understand maybe a 30-50$ fee for an item or two but $3000?? I'd be posting away here.

I agree with you, Mike, on principle. I really do. My friend is more of a seller. So he basically believes that he needs that PSA sticker to maximize his selling ability. If indeed over half of the autographs are from RR, I think he's going to have to go back to them to hopefully get this settled.

As for me, I'm a collector first and foremost so I agree with what you're saying. I have some stuff that is PSA'd, but I have several items that I know are authentic and I haven't bothered to send them to PSA because I plan on keeping them forever...so it doesn't really matter...especially since i can look at them and have 100% confidence that they are genuine.

It's a sad indictment of this hobby when a "sticker" becomes more influential than the autograph itself. What a racket!

I agree with all of you. If you are purchasing an item from RR or other Auctions, your autograph is most likely genuine, and you should feel confident that it is real. I do not get additional certification on those items. If I purchase from a private collector, I use authenticators that have been in the Industry for many years and I trust. For Historical and Presidential autographs I recommend Grad, Darwick and Koschal. For music I recommend Roger Epperson.
