You don't see this every day -- but $17,000?  Fair price or not?

Steve, I think value is about 5000-6000. But it's not exact science I know. We'll see for how much it will sell. I predict it will stay for sale for a long long time.
Like I said, don't you rather have a full vintage Beatles set (6000), full Stones set (2000), Prince (3000), Bowie (1000) and lots of pioneers more?
Are their similar items sold for 17000 dollar?
The George is an unreadable scribble and none of them are vintage.
I hate the George, not saying it isn't legit, but its ugly. I would also buy many other items for 17K.

Current fair market value aside, a premium item like this will certainly appreciate to a greater extent over time than some random scrap of paper.

I wonder if the strongest point this item actually makes is that it is a signed flat instead of a cover? These signatures are seriously not attractive IMHO. I also would buy many other things. Really don't like this item.

I don't like this as well and 2 very rushed looking signatures. You could do so much better elsewhere for that amount.

Harrison is a complete mess.for 17k u can own at least 3 full sets.

...and what about this McCartney (Sept, 2005)?!

The Harrison isn't the best. But, having his signature along with Paul's and Ringo's together on an album, especially "Abbey Road," makes it valuable.

Very nice although the George isn't so nice, I would still like it though. Anybody got a spare 17k.

For comparison, this Sgt. Pepper with the same three signers sold for $8300 at RR Auction a few years ago.

That's a good comparable, too. Desirable album to have signed, rushed George, and a Ringo that includes either the last name or a star.

In my opinion this places the value of the Abbey Road at around $8000 with the Pepper being a complete album (not a flat) and a slightly better "George"
