I picked this up a long time ago and just found it.  Does it look legit?  I assume it was from ebay.

A few more and a "COA"

Not sure about the other 2 autographs but from what I read on here, if the 'r' in Charlton looked like the 'l' following it, it was likely secretarial, which is appears so here.  Will let others chime in.

Heston is secretary. Harrison looks ok.

I don’t know hunter well enough to opine.

So it was signed by his estate but his secretary did the actual signing?

I'm no expert on autographs, what does that make an autograph?  It's not a forgery but it's also not real.

It's not signed by Heston and has no value, even if the secretary was authorized to sign it.

I don't agree with that... less certainly, but saying it has no value implies it belongs in the trash but this would be validly attached to Heston.  A outright forgery, on the other hand has no attachment to the person and has no value at all.

I have a bunch of Heston secretary signed photos. How much would you be willing to pay me for them? :-)

Ah... but you didn't throw them away.  I uncovered that I had bought a few forgeries and they went right in the shredder.  Now, I wouldn't knowingly buy this autograph now but i'm not feeling the urge to destroy it.

They were probably retained as reference for additional secretarials and/or forgeries etc. In that way they have value.

You could keep it for the authentic Harrison (and maybe Hunter). I have the same situation where I paid for Harrison at a show and added her to a secretary Heston (in the 90s before I knew better).

I have come thisclose to shredding them a number of times. Just haven't pulled the trigger. LOL  OK... maybe they have minimal value as a piece of Heston "memorabilia"... like a preprint sent by a studio, etc. But they exist in such mass numbers, it really is almost valueless.

Something like a secretarial 1953 Gleason signed photo retains some collector value because those little signed postcards were what everyone who wrote to CBS received - there were four and folks like to complete the set. This Heston is a very different case and I agree with Steve. And the photo quality kills it. Sorry.
