Once again this shows how easy it is to sell forgeries on EBay.
With Ebay so heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers, it's not surprising that crap like the below continues to sell.
Below is a laughable forged Roger Maris and Joe DiMaggio baseball that was sold by Ebay seller Daddylobster9498 for a whopping $280.00.
First of all, an authentic signed baseball of Roger Maris and Joe DiMaggio would be an eye-opened and sell for thousands of dollars.
The fact that it only sold for $280.00 says it all!!!
Collectors like myself would have been all over this auction if the autographs were authentic, but it is certainly a poorly-executed and laughable set of forgeries sold by Ebay seller Daddylobster9498.
What a waste of $280.00!!!

"This auction is for a autographed Rawlings 1981 World Series Baseball. This ball has 2 signatures, Joe Dimaggio and Roger Maris. This was purchased from a guy whose father ran a pawn shop for many years. This does not have a authenticity paper. However you can tell this was signed with an ink pen. I have looked online and the signatures match other authentic signatures. I have LOTS of other baseball related items I will be listing, including signed bats!!"
Hilarious!!!
