This just arrived in the mail today, from the latest Gotta Have Rock and Roll auction, a Montgomery Clift signed love letter to William LaMassena (from the estate of Farley Granger). They had a few letters from Clift during this last auction, but I really liked this content, as well as the mention of filming “From Here To Eternity”
Other recent additions to my collection:
signed Katharine Hepburn photo from the estate of Jose Rivero, a Cuban journalist who owned a newspaper and a couple of Cuban magazines.
Ingrid Bergman signed photo from the March RR Auction, originally sold last year in Profiles In History’s auctioning of Cecil Jones Hollywood collection (for those of you that follow RR’s auctions, don’t judge me for how much I bid on this item... I really wanted it, lol):

His father..He signed knock em dead because i told him i learned to play guitar because of led zep.. He asked if i was any good..i live about half hour away from his farm in shatterford..

That’s awesome! I was actually just thinking about purchasing a Robert Plant piece. Interesting that he carries these in his pocket? I met Henry Rollins at an event once and he wears a sharpie tied to a necklace, which I thought was interesting.

It is interesting.. You can find different ones from people (depending on the years) on the net ,that are his own promotional ones that he carried..
