I've yet to see a unauthentic one of these fan club letters but I'm not 100% sold on this one. Price is low and seller says no returns so want to be sure.

I posted the Nirvana piece, Daniel. I think that it's extremely unlikely that Kurt or Chris signed those signatures.
Did Krist Novoselic ever sign his name Chris? That would be a bit of a give away wouldnt it?
He did signed as Chris !!! Change to Krist later on.
Thanks for posting these
It looks like the ones in the listing may be right then. Looks nothing like ones I'm familiar with from later.
Hi Tim G !!! Yes these were Fan Mail Newsletter that were mailed out to fans around Oct 1990 to early 1991. These are the only signed Fan Mail Newsletter from Nirvana. Here is the front of the Newsletter. It pops up once in a while on the bay for sale. As you can see, Kurt's autographs is not consistent and varies while Chris and Dave were pretty much the same.
Here is another Fan Newsletter from Nirvana that were mailed to fans in around early 1990. These were not signed.
NirvanaForever,
You joined the site an hour ago and within minutes posted that the Nirvana fan club letter is real and for sale on eBay. Are you involved in the letter in any way?
All Nirvana fan club letters are not authentic, there is not one example that was signed by Dave, Krist, or Kurt.
Friend of mine talked to the person who did sign them, and he admitted as such. Nothing nefarious, just helped out the band.
That is true, once Nevermind was released and the demand for the band went up they did had to start using their producer, Sub Pop, helping sign the fan letters. However, it is generally believed that most if not all of the letters that went out prior to Oct 14, 1991, we all or mostly signed by the actual band members and several reputable hand writing experts examined this letter and determined it compares well to known signatures for that era. You can never be 100% unless you see it signed yourself but this is a good as it gets for Nirvana. When you compare this letter and the signatures to others that have been authenticated, they match very well. That is why three reputable authentication issued LOA's for it and it was also reviewed by several AFTAL and UACC experts that believe it go be authentic.
