Generally, I agree, Tim...ask before you buy. However, I’ve actually had this happen twice before. I put an eBay item up for discussion that I was interested in. It then ended up being purchased before, by someone else, before I got back to it. That doesn’t mean it was someone here who did it. But it can make you a bit nervous about posting for opinions first
It’s probably more risky when it’s a Buy It Now situation which is what happened to me.
Totally agree...learn the sig, and PMing is a good idea if you’re worried it might get snatched.
I understand ur concern
u might want to in that case try the psa 10 $try so u don't tip your hand
if I an amazing piece comes up I just grab
it and do m homework after because it will get gobble up in 2 seconds if real
I love the buyer protection for that reason
I suggest to reach out to Richard Booth. He is a member here and knows Elton's signature extremely well. Here's a link to his profile.
These are bad fakes IMO
I don't know these signatures but both might appear shaky and uncertain.
It's a shame that people have to resort to this sort of thing.
What sort of thing is that? You asked for opinions and you have received them - for free I might add. Is there a problem? JoeW is correct - Richard Booth is very familiar with these signatures.
I do not need to know these signatures well to see shakiness, uncertainty and hesitation. Look how they present.
Or did you mean forgery (If that is what this is)? I might have misunderstood you...
