They look like Joe Long forgeries to me.

+1 I was not sure.

yep, defintely Joe's work, these were originally sold by Christies in 1994 !!

Are they back up for sale?

Yes at a UK auction house (Ewbanks).

Thanks. That doesn’t surprise me.

Joe Long strikes again!!! Lots of his stuff was sold before he was "found out!"

Did Christie's have a lifetime guarantee back then?

With the amount of fake crap in the marketplace, I'm honored that original fans will not tolerate such deceit. And have this forum for validation.

Imagine a few years down the road, however, with all of us original fans gone, how forgeries this sophisticated will be treasured - instead of outed and destroyed, as they should be.

E-mail sent to Ewbanks - I’ll post reply if I get one.

Hello,

I just had a look at lot # 1074 in your upcoming entertainment auction which are the signed Beatles pics. These pics were sold at Christie’s in 1994.
Unfortunately they are not genuine.  These are the work of exposed Southern California forger Joe Long.  Many of his forgeries were sold by auction houses around the world prior to him being exposed and prosecuted.
Of this I am 100% certain. You should get an opinion from Paul Wane at Tracks or another expert in this field as it is almost criminal to continue selling these forgeries as genuine items.
Best regards,
Len
