Hi, I purchased this Jasmine acoustic guitar at an silent auction that was signed by Paul McCartney at the 2002 Superbowl. It was certified authentic by a Harlan Breger of The Heart and Soul foundation. It is documented that McCartney performed at this Superbowl, but I doubt he used this guitar as it is not strung for a left handed player. There are additional words..."God Bless America" and "Good Luck" as well as a little football, and Superbowl 2002.

Do you think this is authentic? And how would I go about getting it officially certified and appraised?

All advice is welcome. Thank you,

Doesn't look like any PM signature I've seen. Hope you didn't see pay too much.

+1 never saw anything like it. Definitely not authentic.

I hate to say it, but that McCartney is definitely not real in my opinion. It’s not even close. Is the company still in business that you bought it from?

It doesn't seem so...not much info on the Internet.

Sorry, that is not real at all.

Looks like another fake from "Charity Grow" a company that provides fakes to charity auctions.  Been discussed here many times:

It definitely doesn’t look authentic to me either, unfortunately.

I moved this to the Beatles forum.

not even close

This forum would have been the ideal place to inspect this guitar before purchase. Unfortunately, the signature isn't McCartney's.

Terrible forgery!!!
