Splendid, uncommonly early 10x8-inch sepia-tone publicity portrait for 1935's The Dark Angel, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in-person for a busy New York City-based autograph hound at the time of the film. In good condition for its age, with scattered mild handling and thumbing bends, not substantially detracting from the overall appearance.

That is a terrific image and a great signature right on the mark as far as being authentic. One of the finest actors of his generation. His Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde I preferred to Tracey's.
That is another great picture and vintage autograph. Kevin McCarthy was a funny guy and always joking around. Met him a couple of times.
Hi Eric. You would have enjoyed Mr. McCarthy. I helped him set his display up one year and sat and chatted with him since there were not many people in the morning. Just a very naturally humorous individual, I liked him. That is another great still and autograph.
Scott Paul, He was funny, I just hated he would pre sign a couple of hundred photos and spread them loosely over his table for people to pick thru……that was how he did it many times at the Hollywood Show.
Oh he did not do that he he signed everything but Monster Bash is a very small show compared to most so that might be why.
If anyone is looking for an early vintage signed Kevin McCcarthy still from his first film, 1951's Death of a Salesman, this SP above is posted on eBay at a great price.
Hi Eric.
Great portrait, and nice contrast with the signature.

Thank you David, and David :)
I really like this one. The image and contrast sold me quickly!
Very nice!
