So another fraudster to add to the list never to buy from !

Yes all us poor sods Working  9-5 what a way to rip your fans off!!!!!

She could have signed thousands of Century embossed pages in Lockdown in readiness to put in these books  - this is blatant fraud (again) and just sheer laziness - not even signing the deluxe songteller copies at $325 a time is ridiculous - she's probably too busy counting all her money by ripping everyone off !!!!!!!!!

I'll post my pictures later today as it should arrive by then.

Looks the same as my earlier example. Sure there are some differences, but there's too much the same.

From what I've learned about autopen, you have to look at the details.

You can manipulate a "dumb" autopen machine enough to make slight variations, but most details will remain the same as they are using a programmed autograph. It will use the same angles and relative line size. Whereas a human who signs a lot of autographs can have autographs that are very similar when you look from a little distance, but it's almost impossible to get the details exactly the same down to the pixel.

In this example I think the spacing has been somewhat adjusted. But when you look at the relative length of lines and shapes compared to eachother, I don't think any human could get those this much the same. Most notable the distinctive bend of the D and the relative height of the "y" compared to that bend. It's exactly the same in all 3 examples. When you look closer, the relative height of the letters remains the same. Only the spacing differs somewhat.

In the last example the "love" has moved a little to the left, but when you look at the shapes and angles of the letters they are the same.

I'm by no means an expert so I'd like to hear other opinions, but it seems to me you can more easily manipulate a machine to do a simple adjustment than as a human to reproduce an autograph down to the exact angles used.

Believe me I don't want these to be autopen either, I'm happy to be proven wrong.

I paid WHSmith 7 months ago and as I use a forwarding service a return will cost me handling costs, even if they provide a return label.

Then there's the $325 Songteller book which I bought from Premiere months ago. I know they've pulled autopens from other books as soon as they were discovered, so I consider them a trusted source to buy from, but there were only 250 in the market and were shipped sealed, so they did not have a lot to compare to.

Regarding Songteller, I’ve emailed the publisher Chronicle Books where I purchased my copy. Asked them to confirm sleeves were hand signed as I’ve seen copies suggesting use of autopen. I’ll post any response.

This is insane.  Gas going over 5 bucks a gallon, Russia possibly starting WWIII and celebs cant bring a little joy to this hobby by hand signing their books?  Disgusting, especially since she was called out before on this.

Fraud is fraud regardless of what’s going on elsewhere.

it’s also quite sinister when they are making multiple attempts of tricking fans. We know Ozzy Osbourne had like 8 different autopens when he did this a few years ago.

It’s sickening that they want to rip off fans like this!

We've donated to Ukraine in a few different ways. My wife is Russian and is completely against Putin. I dont want to turn political on here but I want to say, I hope no one is mad at Russian citizens. Yes they let this happen over the years but the Russian government is so corrupt, there's only so much they can do. We have a direct line to many Russian citizens living within Russia and most are extremely against the war. The few who aren't, seem to be brainwashed. No need to reply on here. Anyone who wants to talk can DM me. I just want it known that a company called Meest with offices in Chicago and Palatine IL as well as NJ are gathering supplys for Ukraine and shipping them over to Ukraine free of charge if anyone is in the area and wants to help. That said, this war has got me thinking about what is most important. Im going to take a step back from this hobby for a while and reflect. You are completely right about this seeming petty but a sense of normalcy with a hobby isn't such a bad thing

How did this get to WWIII and what's happening in Ukraine? What does an autopen discussion have anything to do with that? Let's just stay on topic and see if we can figure this out together. Im leaning towards autopen myself.

Landon, I agree, thats why I said DM me if you want to continue. I was replying to damageink777 and for anyone in general who feels the same about Ukraine. Again, no need to reply to me on here further

And yes, autopen 100%

Only $5 a gallon?

It's over $9 a gallon here in the UK !

This is the response from publisher Chronicle Books regarding Songteller:

“Hello Matt,

Thank you so much for reaching out. I can indeed confirm that this limited edition provides a completely authentic hand signed autograph by Dolly. As a collector myself I can completely understand your concern but am happy to let you know that is the real deal.”

Not sure what else they can say but ok…
